Studies will take place at our southern campus, Campus Storstrøm, which is located in Vordingborg, Denmark.
The Teacher Education covers Primary and Lower Secondary (ages 6 to 16 years old). Students of Pre-primary (Pre-school) Education, please choose our course Children at Risk.
Special Education 30 ECTS
The semester starts on 3 February 2014 and ends 17-19 May 2014.
The subject Special Education focuses on children’s development, learning and inclusive environments in schools. As a student you will learn how to work with children with different kinds of learning difficulties, social problems and behavioral problems. Moreover, you will achieve competencies in cooperating with colleagues, other professionals and parents. The subject will enable you to plan, implement and evaluate the teaching of children with special needs in an inclusive setting in primary and lower secondary schools by considering each child’s prerequisites.
If you are not an EU citizen and your institution is not part of a Nordplus or Erasmus Programme, there is a tuition fee of € 3500 per semester. To have your application form and exam papers processed we require a non-refundable registration fee of EURO 150 payable in advance. If you are accepted into the programme, the 150€ are deducted from the payment of the module.
