For Children at Risk 2017 we accept 25 international students from teaching, social pedagogy, social work or related bachelor educations. We give high priority to the diversity of the group.
It is preferable - but not mandatory - that the students have had some practical experience with professional pedagogical work before attending the course.
The Children at Risk course rests on Danish pedagogical traditions demanding independence, responsibility, high engagement and self-discipline from the students. It includes active dialogue in class, in groups outside of class and on the internet as well as a general participatory approach to learning.
